The Lot Boutique Hotel

The Lot Boutique Hotel is a charming 8-room boutique hotel in a converted townhouse in Miraflores. Rooms at the hotel are simple and modern, while the quiet internal courtyard provides some welcome tranquility from the busy streets of Lima. With warm and friendly service to boot, this hotel is a an inexpensive base for exploring the capital.

Belmond Miraflores Park

Our pick of the larger luxury hotels in Lima, the Belmond Miraflores Park is located in a quiet area of Miraflores, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Offering a wide array of facilities and attentive service, the Miraflores Park lives up to the exceptional standards you would expect of a Belmond Hotel.

Hotel B Barranco

A hip and chic hotel in the bohemian area of Barranco, the Hotel B is one of the places to stay in Peru’s capital. A self-designated arts-boutique hotel, its corridors are lined with eye-catching modern artwork and photography, which give it the feel of an art collector’s home rather than an out and out hotel.

Casa Andina Select: Arequipa

The third Casa Andina property in Arequipa, the Casa Andina Select Hotel is a more modern and functional hotel located on Arequipa’s main Plaza de Armas. While service here is more focussed on being efficient rather than personable, the hotel is ideal for those wanting to be in the hubbub of Arequipa’s colonial centre and within stepping distance of the main sites.

Hotel Libertador: Arequipa

A long-standing favourite in Arequipa, the Hotel Libertador is a luxury five star hotel with plenty of facilities and colonial grandeur. Our only reservation about the hotel is the location, which is a 20 minute walk from the centre and not as convenient for walking to bars and restaurants in the evenings.

Casa Andina Private Collection: Arequipa

Our pick of the hotels in Arequipa, the Casa Andina Private Collection Hotel is a five to ten minute walk from the main square and some of the best restaurants in town. Although the rooms are fairly standard in size and decor, the setting of the hotel and the friendly service more than makes up for this.

Aranwa Pueblito Encantado del Colca

A peaceful riverside retreat in the tranquil rolling hills of the Colca region, the Aranwa Pueblito Encantado del Colca is superbly positioned property, surrounded by agricultural lands and tiny villages. While we loved the location and facilities of this hotel, we did feel that it was lacking a certain something from a service perspective.

Titilaka

An 18-room luxury hotel tucked away on a private peninsula on the banks of Lake Titicaca and around an hour’s drive from the nearest town, the Hotel Titilaka is quite simply a world away from the large chain hotels in Puno.

Sonesta Posadas del Inca: Lake Titicaca

Located just outside of town on the banks of Lake Titicaca, the Sonesta is another good-quality option for those spending one or two nights in Puno to visit the Lake and surrounding islands. The hotel’s glass-fronted restaurant is its most impressive feature and offers sweeping views out towards the Lake and gardens.

Casa Andina Private Collection

This is a cosy and inviting hotel at the banks of Lake Titicaca, offering uninterrupted views of the lake and a convenient base from which to explore the surrounding area. Part of the Casa Andina group it forms part of one of Peru’s most well-established hotel chains.
