Similar to the Edelweiss, the Kenton Palace Hotel is a good, if functional town hotel. Again, we would suggest that it aims more at a winter market than a summer one with the rooms being comfortable and clean rather than making use of the views or the location. They have opted for a more contemporary feel to the design and as such it doesn’t call to you to relax with a book for the evening, but it is a good hotel overall.

Located just round the corner from the Edelweiss, the Kenton Palace is a pretty simple city hotel. They have gone for a fairly minimalist, contemporary look in the main foyer and communal area and it is not necessarily somewhere that invites you to grab a book and relax, but it is in keeping with the hotel.

All of the rooms have the correct facilities and offer ensuite bathrooms and tvs etc. One thing that most of them don’t offer, however, is views as it is located right in the centre of town. The hotel features good facilities with sauna and steam bath/Jacuzzi for those that have come back from a hard days skiing.

As mentioned above, we get the impression that people would not choose this hotel for the views it offers….but more for the convenience of having a jacuzzi and a simple hotel to come back to after a good days skiing. As is apparent in quite a few of the hotels, the rooms tick plenty of the boxes, but lack a bit of character overall and so would probably not be our first choice…
