Villa Etnia

Located within walking distance of the Quadrado, Villa Etnia is a great option for clients looking to stay in the heart of Trancoso but without the price tag of Uxua. With carefully put together guest rooms and villas set within ‘jungle’ gardens, this hotel provides a welcoming and relaxing environment to come back to after a long day at the beach.

Sheraton da Bahia

The Sheraton da Bahia is a large international style hotel in Salvador's Campo Grande district and is generally a choice for business travellers rather than leisure travellers.

Trancoso

Trancoso

An hour’s flight and an hour’s drive from Salvador, on Bahia’s southern coastline, the old fishing village of Trancoso is fast becoming one of the most chic beach holiday destinations in Brazil. Despite its popularity and status, the village has managed to retain its laid-back way of life and simple charms. Those who go to Trancoso will find themselves relaxing into the slow pace of life, where a few days can very easily be spent just moving back and forth between the beach and the grassy central square of the ‘Quadrado’.

Salvador da Bahia

Salvador da Bahia

The capital of Bahia state, Salvador, is one of Brazil’s most vibrant and colourful cities. The country’s first capital and an entry point for slave ships from Africa, Salvador da Bahia played a key part in the history and development of Brazil. The ruins of this diverse history include 15 forts, 166 Catholic churches and 1000 candomblé temples. Although Salvador has long ceased to be the economic and political capital of Brazil, it has retained its rich colonial architecture and continues to be the cradle of African cultural heritage within Brazil.
