For North Americans and Europeans, a destination like Argentina would not be thought of as a location for top class skiing….but it is. In fact, for the northern hemisphere summer, Argentina is the destination of choice for Olympic ski teams from around the world due to its high quality powder snow and easy access to slopes.

Certainly the most famous area in Argentina to ski is the resoorrt of Las Lenas, to the south of Mendoza. To get here is a matter of timing your itinerary to the weekly shared charter flight from Buenos Aires. There are, however, a few other areas in Argentina worth looking into...a short list of them is below.
