Insolito Boutique Hotel & Spa

The Insolito Boutique Hotel & Spa is positioned on the edge of Ferradura Beach, a five-minute drive or a twenty-minute walk from the centre of Búzios. With direct access to two beaches, a beach club and access to a golf club nearby, this hotel is perfect for those looking for real relaxation.

The hotel’s 24 rooms and suites are divided between five oceanfront houses, set into the hillside above Ferradura Beach. Each are individually decorated with artwork, sculpture, textiles and books, related to a specific part of Brazil’s cultural heritage. 18 rooms have panoramic views out over the bay while the others face the beach or the hotel’s well-kept gardens.

The hotel has pretty much everything you could need on site, including two freshwater pools, a salt- water pool, a wellness centre offering massages and traditional indian therapies, a yoga room, as well as a dry sauna, steam sauna, Jacuzzi and ofruro. The hotel has two restaurants, the first overlooking Ferradura Bay and the second at the hotel’s beach club on Ferradura Beach, which both serve French-Brazilian fusion food.

For those who like to mix the beach with a few activities, the hotel has two private boats and bicycles available and can organise a range of water sports including water-skiing, wakeboarding, kite surfing and fishing, to name a few!
