Pousada Literária de Paraty

Set around a luscious tropical garden and large outdoor pool area, the Pousada is inspired by Paraty's arts and cultural scene. In fact, it takes its name from the annual literary festival which takes place in Paraty in July.

Its 23 rooms and suites are spacious and decorated to a high standard with wooden floors, hessian rugs and colourful textiles. All are designed to make guests feel at home and come equipped with LCD TVs, DVD players and a collection of books and DVDs.

Despite being located in the middle of town, this hotel boasts lots of facilities including a library with over 4000 books and films, a large outdoor swimming pool and pool bar, a sauna and massage room and a newly built spa.
