Location
Bordering the affluent district of Chapinero, the Quinta Camacho district is home to numerous independent shops, restaurants and bars. Bogota’s renown Zona G - the Gourmet area full of eateries – is just a ten minute walk.
Layout
Casa Legado is split over two floors. The ground floor has one - wheelchair accessible – bedroom, the communal living room, breakfast area and open kitchen. The other bedrooms are upstairs. To the rear of the property is the enchanting, fairy-light laden garden. There is also a beautiful, leafy solarium, where meals can be taken.
Rooms
Casa Legado has seven rooms in total, 3 suites and 4 standard rooms, all with cable TV and private bathrooms. The wheelchair accessible room also has a private wet-room. The configuration varies between two and three occupants. Our favourite is the “Lucho” – due to the balcony overlooking the garden.
Features
Despite being one of the safest areas of Bogota, we are really impressed with the fact Casa Legado has a security guard posted 7 days a week. We are also fans of the freshly-prepared breakfast and open “help-yourself” kitchen. For anyone wanting an extra-special experience, ask us about the beautiful 5-person cabin located on their sister property in the countryside. This farmhouse cabin, just a couple of hours from the city, is available for guests and offers nature walks, kayaking and quad-biking!
