Undergoing a multi-million dollar refit in June 2016, the Hebridean Sky, formally known as the Sea Explorer, will have completely redecorated outward-facing suites and common areas and will boast brand new facilities, including state of the art stabilization, fuel efficiency and upgraded communication systems.
All suites have exterior views, a choice of a queen- or twin- bed, a sitting area with a convertible sofa and side chair, flat screen TV, independent temperature controls, mini-bar and marble-appointed en-suite bathroom. Penthouse and Veranda suites have the additional facility of a private balcony.
Facilities on board include an elevator serving all passenger decks, WIFI, a library equipped with computers, a wraparound sun deck, bar, top-class restaurant, lounge and exercise room.
With space for 114 passengers and 70 crew on-board, the ship can maximize opportunities for landings and ensures that passengers are well looked after throughout their cruise. On the fly and cruise itineraries, the number of passengers is restricted to around 70 people, giving a much more personalised experience.
