The Ushuaia

There are a number of different accommodation types available, from suites to twin standards, for a range of tastes and budgets. En-suite bathrooms in all cabins apart from the Twin Standards which share a bathroom between two cabins. Each cabin has plentiful storage space and its own washbasin.

The public areas of the ship include a large dinning area, an observation lounge with modern multimedia equipment, a bar and a library. Additionally there is a large outer deck offering great wildlife viewing opportunities. Aboard there is a specialist team of expedition leaders all extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the environment.

Based out of the southern Argentine port of Ushuaia (hence the name!) the Ushuaia only offers cruises (rather than the recently more popular fly/cruise options) and covers the Antarctic Peninsula, the Weddell Sea, the Falklands and South Georgia. With the reduced cost for the itineraries there are no extra activities, such as kayaking or snowshoeing, available on the Ushuaia.

As a small, expeditionary ship, taking only 88 passengers aboard, and featuring some of the best guides available, it means that everyone can disembark at the same time allowing for longer landing times compared to other boats.
