With the town being so new, it may not appear important that the Posada Los Alamos is the oldest 5 star in town, but it is worth noting….mainly as they, therefore, have much more room than anyone else. This hotel incorporates a golf course, 2 dining areas, a clubhouse, spa, pool and Jacuzzis, along with plenty of rooms, and all within walking of the centre of town. Not a bad feature. For our money, the rooms are good but there are better hotels.

The oldest of the top flight hotels in the area, Posada Los Alamos is a quiet and comfortable hotel, set right in the heart of town. To get from the hotel to the main road that runs through the town takes about 5 minutes and so is very simple.

Another really good point about the Posada los Alamos is that it has an absolute glut of facilities with a 9 hole golf course, a full pool with Jacuzzis, a gym, good restaurant, cocktail bar and normal bar. The only thing that it doesn’t really have is a view as it is in the valley and surrounded by tall poplars.

On the whole the service and accommodation is very good as well as the small restaurant (although this tends to be better visited for breakfast rather that evening meals), our only real qualm was that the rooms are a little on the small side when compared with its contemporaries.
