Undoubtedly the king of Salta, the Hotel Alejandro I is the largest and most imposing building on the Salta skyline and dominates those around it. Constructed recently, the Alejandro I is the first modern highrise hotel to be built in Salta and offers a high level of accommodation and service right in the heart of the city. Normally we are not big fans of this type of hotel as we always feel that the size diminishes the service, but this is not the case here and we are happy to recommend a stay!

Just a few minutes walk from the main square, the Alejandro I was built in honour of the son of the owner who passed away unexpectedly, and is a great monument to his memory.

Nothing has been left to chance in the construction with an attention to detail throughout, from the impressive entrance hall to the detailing in each of the rooms. Moreover, as this is the only hotel of its type in the city it also boasts some of the best facilities such as a full spa and health centre, a pool and 3 different restaurants.

As we mention above, this is not normally the type of hotel that we would recommend to clients, but the Alejandro 1 is surprisingly welcoming inside and the service standards are very high. This modern and sleek styling might not be to everyone’s liking and, at times, it can feel like you are in a 70s showroom, but there is no doubting that, if you are a fan of facilities and are looking for a god location, then this is it.
