Situated in the historical and bohemian neighbourhood of Barrio Lastarria, within walking distance of museums, parks, bars and restaurants, the Casa Bueras Boutique Hotel is one of our favourite properties in the Chilean capital. With only fourteen rooms set within a 1920s converted townhouse, the hotel offers truly personalised service and attention to detail.

Located in a shady street in the centre of the Lastarria district, the hotel is on the doorstep of some of Santiago’s main attractions including Cerro Santa Lucía and the pretty Parque Forestal. Both the historical centre and the quirky Barrio Bellavista are reachable on foot from the hotel while Baqueadano metro station is a five minute walk away to explore Santiago’s other districts.

The hotel has seven rooms and seven suites set over three floors, ranging from light and airy rooms perfect for couples through to spacious suites, which are suitable for families. Rooms and suites can also be connected for families looking for more space. With high ceilings, large windows with city views and wooden floors, rooms are comfortable and elegantly decorated.

The main facilities at the hotel include a small gym, business centre, beauty salon and stylish restaurant. One of the major attractions of this hotel is its tranquil walled garden and pool which is perfect for relaxing after a busy day of sight seeing.

Hotel Lastarria was excellent – as was its location – a great neighbourhood with plenty nice bars, restaurants and bars. The hotel breakfasts were good

The Lastarria Hotel (Santiago) was exactly suited to our tastes. The staff was very engaged in our level of satisfaction, and interested in making our stay a memorable one. The breakfast was a nice spread which was just at the right level, not too heavy, and wonderful coffees. Their tea service in the afternoons was a real highlight and positioned by their secret backyard pool setting made it a great place to unwind at the end of a day. We also hosted a small gathering in this environment and the staff made a beautiful charcuterie tray along with cheese/ crackers and a wonderful wine selection that everyone enjoyed. We stayed at the hotel on the front and back end of our Chilean trip and would definitely return. The neighborhood is in the best location of the city to stay and enjoy.
