Hotel Cumbres Lastarria

The hotel is accessed via José Victorino Lastarria, a pedestrianised street leading up from Alameda with bars, restaurants and a second-hand book and artisan market. Right next to the MAVI museum and steps from the GAM Theatre and Museum, it couldn’t be better located for enjoying Lastarria’s cultural attractions.

The hotel’s 70 rooms are spread over 8 floors with standard, superior and junior suite categories. All are big and spacious with modern décor and king-size or twin-beds. The layout of the rooms is slightly unusual with the bathroom being right next to the door as you come in and the only separation between the two being a frosted glass panel.
The modern build of this hotel has meant that the designers have a lot more space to play with. There is a large lobby and business lounge on the ground floor as well as an informal tapas bar, which is open to the public. On the top floor of the hotel is the outdoor swimming pool, terrace and restaurant.

Other features at the hotel include a gym and spa on the lower ground floor. While this hotel will definitely appeal to those wanting to have access to lots of facilities, the service felt slightly impersonal and we would argue that there are better options nearby.
