Hotel Boutique Casablanca BCW is situation in the centre of the Casablanca Wine Route. This secluded property, originally a country mansion dating back 120 years, is the perfect spot to base yourself whilst exploring the superb wineries in the area. Another advantage is that it’s located between Santiago airport and Valparaiso (under an hour’s drive to both), so offers a convenient stop for those planning on heading to the coast. We love their expansive allotment, providing a largely organic menu in the restaurant. The owners are very knowledgeable on the local wine region and are on-hand to advise and assist with tours. Alternatively, you can relax in the peaceful garden, featuring a swimming pool, hot-tub and sauna. In short, a great value option for some tasting and relaxation in your itinerary!

Location

Hotel Boutique Casablanca BCW is in the town of Lagunillas, a small settlement of less than 800 inhabitants. Santiago airport is just under an hour’s drive; and the bohemian coastal town of Valparaiso is approx. 45 minutes the north-west. For anyone taking a cruise out of San Antonia, the port is half an hour to the south.

Layout

Once through the main gate, there is plentiful parking outside the property, which is all single-storey. From reception, the accommodation is located to the front of the building. Continuing through to the back of the mansion is the ‘lounge’ common room and finally the restaurant. On one side of these two rooms are the allotments; and on the other side the main garden. Within the garden is the red-tiled outdoor pool (giving the impression you are swimming in large glass of Rosé), two hot-tubs and a terrace with loungers. There are also two independent wooden huts – a sauna and a massage room.

Rooms

The boutique property is made up of 10 rooms, all of which are at least 270 sq. ft. The two superior rooms are slightly larger. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, Satellite TV with HD screens and a safe. Each room can be configured as a twin or King bed.
