Located next to the wide golden sands of Praia dos Nativos, a 5-minute drive from the Quadrado, The Estrela D’água is suited to clients who are looking for quiet beach relaxation. Clients who stay here will need to take a taxi up to the restaurants and bars of the Quadrado, however, the hotel has three different restaurants including its own sushi bar, meaning you may feel that there is no reason to leave the hotel.

One of the larger hotels in Trancoso, Estrela D’água’s 20 Double Suites offer a comfortable and tranquil environment for guests with rustic-chic design, large beds and views over the hotel’s beautifully kept garden. All are equipped with modern comforts including plasma TVs, WIFI and air conditioning. Rooms are a mixture of cool, white furnishings and colourfully painted walls or floors, which reflect the hotel’s Bahia beach location.

For those looking for more privacy, we would recommend spending the extra for one of the Master Suites, which have spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and their own private pool or Jacuzzi. All of the bungalows are set around the hotel’s large gardens, meaning guests never feel as if they are on top of each other. For honeymooners, it is advised to book the duplex bungalow, which, is built in its own private position overlooking the beach and has a large outdoor terrace with a private Jacuzzi.
