Estancia Puesto Viejo is arguably one of the best polo estancias that you can get to within an hour of Buenos Aires. However, this is definitely not the only reason to come here. Featuring a stunning farm style setting, comfortable rooms and a swimming pool with sweeping views, heading out to the estancia for a week of polo or for just a few days of relaxation at the start or end of your trip is highly recommended!

Location

Set in open fields an hour or so to the south of Buenos Aires, this is traditional ‘Pampas’ territory with wide open vistas across open farmland. This flat characteristic works perfectly for the ‘flat’ requirements of polo pitches and the club itself features 6 Tifton polo pitches that are used throughout the year for both professional and amateur tournaments and practice.

Rooms

Each of the traditional style rooms are light and airy and have views from out under the terraced walkway to the grounds and open plains beyond. As with many of the estancias out here, the idea is to feel like a farmhouse rather than a swanky modern hotel but they are very comfortable.

Layout

Loosely arranged around the main house, the swimming pool sits away from the main areas and looks to the polo fields while the bedrooms nestle behind and look out onto the tranquil trees of the property grounds.

Features

The main feature of coming here is, of course, the polo pitches for which it has become famous but with a good sizes swimming pool, amply sized rooms, a relaxing garden area and comfortable dining the property offers a lot and is particularly suited to those wanting somewhere to relax for a few days.
