This is a varied itinerary that takes in some of the most beautiful areas of Southern Chile. Combining the adventure hub of Pucón in the Northern Lake District with the mystical archipelago of Chiloé and the stunning Torres del Paine National Park, this itinerary takes advantage of a special deal for this season between Hotel Antumalal and Tierra Chiloé, that includes free road transfers between the two properties. Starting with a couple of nights in Santiago and ending with a night in a vineyard property just outside of the capital, this itinerary gives you a great overview of the south of Chile all within two weeks.

Fly to Santiago and met on arrival.

DAY

Pucón

Make the most of your time in Santiago and take the overnight bus down to Pucón in Chile’s Northern Lake District. The bus arrives into the centre of Pucón and the bus station is just a 10-minute drive from Hotel Antumalal where you’ll stay for the next 3 nights on a B&B basis. A haven for adventure activity enthusiasts, the options for the next couple of days are endless! Take to the rapids in fast moving rivers, go hiking in nearby Monkey puzzle tree forests or simply relax by the lake on the hotel’s private beach.

DAY

Chiloé

Driving south through the Lake District you will be taken via the picturesque town of Frutillar to then take the ferry across to the island of Chiloé to stay at Tierra Chiloé for 3 nights on a B&B basis. A magical archipelago which has maintained its deep-rooted cultural traditions, it is famous for its painted churches, stilted houses known as “palafitos” and rugged scenery. Enjoy another couple of days of hiking and discovering Chiloé's natural beauty or discover more about the island’s cultural heritage by visiting local communities and remote villages where it feels like time stands still.
